3 Mondays in a row, 3 different topics from plastics, to big data, to climate change, 11 panellists, 150 participants: these Express Debates were an enriching experience and a daring start for NOWMORE. Being exposed to the diverging views of business experts, civil society representatives, opinion makers and academics is what makes issues more complex – but more engaging. Also, talking to an audience that is not deep into the process of co-decision, forced us to address the big picture rather than stay in the comfort zone of technical detail. A big thank you to all the speakers who took part in this debate series and to Brussels Express and the Press CLub Brussels Europe for hosting. And now, it’s time to vote!
