In October 2019 Eurocities was organising a 2 day conference on citizen engagement.  NOWMORE was invited to faciliate an exchange of views between participants on a series of principles that Eurocities could uphold to improve or encourage citizens’ engagement in the development of city policies.

Eurocities members were joined by external speakers, invited to give their perspective on the issue, in relation to priority areas for deliberative democracy to express itself, the processes and tools that can enhance citizen participation in local decision-making, as well as the role of cities in fostering more citizens engagement in politics.

We organised preparatory calls with the speakers and Jean-Paul Judson facilitated the whole session.
